Literature Circles - The Hero's Journey

In connection with our, "Circle of Life" theme, the students revisited the concept of, "The Hero's Journey" as described by Joseph Campbell and depicted in this animated TED-Ed video. The students then searched for and documented elements of this theme in the books they are reading (The Hobbit, Coraline, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and A Wrinkle in Time).
