PERMAcycle

Our work with Chiwara Permaculture continued as Nate introduced the students to the PERMAcycle, with an emphasis on the principles of closed loop systems. The PERMAcycle is designed to harness the energy of the human to power LEDs which help grow food, which powers the human - and the cycle continues. The students analyzed the system, identifying outputs and inputs and discussed possible additional uses including a blender and a turntable. We will begin work on our own version in the coming weeks.
